Abortion is a heavily debated subject all over the world. Most countries have in various degrees taken a stand on the subject. This Abortion controversy takes place in the USA, where they have a fairly loose abortion law, where ever since the Roe v. Wade and Doe v Bolton in 1973 abortion has been legal. However it has been modified since it original 9 months initiative.
Google trend draws a picture of the world wide debate; it shows where are internet searches on the topic through the last nine years. One must keep in mind, that the internet have is still are not available to all in the world, therefore are the result determinate by internet availability.

To create a better understanding of what abortion means in the different countries looking upon the laws in the given country can give a pointer. Here are two examples:
Scandinavia are divided, where Denmark has a strict 12 week policy, Sweden allow abortions until 18 week. When the Roe V. Wade law was approved in the states, it allowed abortions throughout the entire pregnancy. To get an idea what this exactly means, one needs to understand how a fetus develops within the womb.
When does life begin?
One of the reasons for the debate, is the disagreement on when life begins. There is different language and terms used from all the involved actors.
At 12 week the fetus is still a bundle of cells.
